Caroline Rackham raises New Forest issues with Lib Dem Leader
Lib Dem Regional Conference took place in Winchester last weekend. Lib Dem Candidate for New Forest East at the next General Election, Caroline Rackham, was in attendance alongside fellow Lib Dems from the New Forest. As a candidate to be New Forest East's next MP, Caroline had the opportunity to meet with the Leader of the Liberal Democrats, Ed Davey.
Caroline used the brief meeting to raise some issues of importance to local residents, such as the plans to develop Dibden Bay.
As well as specific local issues, Ed is also aware of the national issues which matter to people across the country. He explained how we need to focus on the NHS and Social Care, the cost of living, and the environment.
Lib Dem Candidate for New Forest East, Caroline Rackham, added:
"He puts people at ease so quickly. It's hard not to laugh with him. You get the feeling he knows what problems we face.
"As a leader and as an ordinary person, Ed is a breath of fresh air."
