Protecting local services
From buses to recycling centres, local services are the beating heart of our towns and villages here in the New Forest.
Yet, the Conservatives keep cutting back and scrapping these services. They are ripping the heart out of rural areas like ours.
Jack is working hard to protect local services here in the New Forest. He is leading the local campaign to save Somerley Recycling Centre and is working with Morebus to improve bus services to Lymington Hospital.
But none of this should be necessary. It is a disgrace that this Conservative Government have chosen to cut funding for local councils who provide these vital services. Things have to change.
New Forest West needs an MP who understands the local government financial crisis and will fight for more funding for cash-strapped councils to provide the services local people need.
