David Harrison, currently Totton South district councillor and community leader, has been nominated as the Official Liberal Democrat candidate for Totton South and Marchwood in its upcoming election to elect a Councillor to represent it on Hampshire County Council on May 4th.

“It is my utmost pleasure that I can welcome David Harrison to New Forest’s Team 2017,” said Jack Davies, Chair of New Forest Liberal Democrats. “David has been a champion of Real Change in Totton South and Marchwood since he was first elected to Hampshire County Council in 2005, and the strong voice that local residents deserve.”

David is as leader of the Liberal Democrat opposition group on New Forest District Council, as well as a long standing member of Totton & Eling Town Council.

His other roles include membership of the New Forest National Park Authority, where he is Chairman of the Resources, Performance & Audit Committee. He is also a member of the Hampshire Fire and Rescue Authority, River Hamble Management Committee, School Governor at Eling First school and Trustee of the Three Score Club Totton.
